That Time of the Year

So.. Finally got a slot for my re-scheduled technical assessment.

Tuesday 29 October 2013.

Was informed about that last Thursday. Dah la tengah attend a course. Adoi. Terpaksa la study through the weekend. Juggling that and looking after Afif. 

How could i focus when he keeps giving me his melting smiles, demanding me to play? Hehe.

Wish me luck on my assessment. Need to nail it coz i got so much gap to close especially because i didnt go for last year's session. Sebab terberanak awal. Baahaha.

Perth Trip: Adina Apartment, Barrack Plaza.

We chose to stay at an apartment for two reasons:

1) there were 3 of us adults. A hotel room would be too small, two hotel rooms would be a waste sebab takkan lah my SIL (which we call kakak tp sebenarnya lagi muda) nak dok dlm bilik sorang.

2) we want to cook for breakfast as breakfast is not provided. Lagipon slalu kan kalo hotel oversea ni diorg bagi breakfast ham, bacon la. Geli plak.

So we settled for one bedroom apartment. We chose Adina Apartment Barrack Plaza because it's in the city. Takyah nak fikir pasal transport plus makan pon dekat. Sayangnya Adina only has one bedroom apartment. They dont have 2 or 3 bedrooms apartment. Nasib baik Kakak tak kisah tido atas sofa.

Even though last minute, i managed to compare the price online with a few agents; Agoda, Expedia and AirAsia Go. Agoda price was RM2500 while AirAsia Go and Expedia offered RM2100 for 3 nights. Of course we settled with AirAsia Go. Booking was easy peasy.

We reached Perth Airport at about 2.30pm. Taxi ride from the airport to the hotel costed us AUD48 (i was looking at the meter the entire time and screaming in my head "Mahalnyaaa.. Baru half an hour ride!" Checked in at Adina at around 3pm. The receptionist is friendly. Her name is Shaya. No charge for third person check in which i was worried about since we booked a room for two.

We were given a room on the second floor. Macam selalu masuk bilik hotel, kami semua jakun lah meng-explore. The room comes with:

-one bathroom with a bath tub

- a kitchen fully equipped with a fridge, hot stove, dishwasher, pots, pans, mugs, glasses, cutleries, plates, an electric kettle, a microwave.. All you need in a basic kitchen. We used Sabun Taharah to samak all the utensils before using them, just in case.

- dining table that sits 4

- a study table

- sofa set

- washing machine and dryer

- iron and ironing board

- flatscreen tvs (one in the living and one in the bedroom)

Kitchenette complete with basic kitchen utensils.

The bathroom

We feel like home already. Facilities in the hotel includes a gym and swimming pool. You can request for a parking bay at the hotel's carpark and it costs you AUD25/day. 

What i love most is that Adina is really in the city center. Everywhere you could possibly wanna go by foot are close by. Right in front of the hotel are 2 asian/Korean grocers, a 24/7 convenience store is 2 minutes walk away. On the same block there's a Halal Indonesian restaurant and opposite that, a Kebab restaurant. Hay and Murray Street Mall (which are the highlight of the city) are 5 minutes walk away. Train station is 5 minutes walk away and you can take the bus (free service within the city) in front of the hotel. 

I am so glad we decided to choose this hotel. i'd give it a 4 out of 5 based on my experience.

Perth Trip: AirAsia Premium Flat Bed Review

As i blogged here, my little family plus sister in law went on a short trip to Perth last week. I'm gonna write in separate posts on flight, accommodation and the places we visited. 

I always travel with AirAsia for the obvious reason; cheaper. Now everyone can fly katanya. Lelagi lah Mr  Chenta is now an AirAsia staff, memang travel ngan AirAsia je lah on staff privilages.

Traveling with a baby is a challenge, tak kisah la dengan airline apa pon. Having traveled with Afif before (this post), i knew the 5 hour 40 minutes flight to Perth is gonna be tiring and quite an experience. So i decided to upgrade my seat to Premium Flatbed seat for comfort so that Afif can sleep peacefully and i can breastfeed him lying down. That boy has to bergayut sambil baring kalo nak tido. In my experience, kalo flight penuh memang takde chance la nak breastfeed berbaring. Didn't want to take the chance,so we pay a little to upgrade my seat. Mr. Chenta and SIL dok belakang, seat biasa. Tinggal lah aku sorang manage budak kecik tu haa..

Premium Flatbeds are located at the front of the aircraft. Ada 12 seats per aircraft. The seats are spacious, complete with a fluffy pillow and duvet for comfort.

My seat number was 1G. To my horror it was on the middle area. Tak dapat tepi tingkap sebab fully booked. Well, i have to deal with the fact that i'm gonna have to breastfeed openly. Nasib baik lah pakai baju easy access sesiap, and ada blanket Afif untuk cover.

The stewardess are all nice and very attentive towards our needs. They provided a bassinet for Afif, and an extra pillow for me. Every now and then they asked if i need anything. The perks of traveling with a baby and i think the premium seaters deserve that special service, considering the price.

The Premium area is dimly lit, i think it's on purpose for guest's comfort. Aircond is cold (unlike in the economy area yang kekadang aircond perlahan) and the area is so quiet. There's a lavatory especially for Premium seat guests. Twenty minutes into our flight, everyone in the Premium area have dozed off, blanket up their neck, some with eye mask. Sedap diorang tido. No wonder they are willing to pay for an upgrade. Memang berbaloi. Me? Well, i'm busy entertaining Afif. 

An hour into the flight, Afif got a little cranky. He pooped. A little constipated sebab tu dia nanges. Nasib baik tak full blast melalak. Kalo tak, haru je sume orang terjaga tido. Changing his diaper was a breeze because there's a baby changing area in the lavatory.

i thank God many times Afif was not cranky for the rest of the flight. Ada lah dia merengek kejap sebab nak tido. i put him down and lay beside him lalu dia menyonyot dan tidur. Siap dapat tidur dua sessions. i gotta admit sempit la jugak baring berdua dengan dia. Tapi selesa la siap aku pon tido skali. When he's asleep, baru la ade chance nak makan but i had to sit on the leg part of the seat because, well, i had no other place to sit at.

All in all, i would recommend the Premium Flatbeds, especially for long hours flight like this or if you travel with a baby. You'll surely fly in comfort, tido lena. Tau-tau dah sampai je.

Now, baby, when is our next long-haul flight? i want an upgrade, please!

Afif is One!

Alhamdulillah, all praise to Allah. 

Our little bundle of joy has grown and now a cheeky one-year-old. 

I cant believe how fast time passes us by. 

"Afif, if you're reading this wayyyy in the future, please know that you bring great joy and happiness not only to mama and daddy, but also to your aunties, uncles, Wan, Atok, your three Unyangs, and our family. Sometimes, when i look at you, it feels surreal that i have a son. Daddy and i always watch you while you're busy playing/sleeping and we ask each other "Betol ke kita dah ada anak? Ni anak kita ke?" and grin like lunatics. We are just so grateful. We hope and pray that you will grow up healthily, happily and be a good Muslim, In Shaa Allah"

Development

Been a long time since i last wrote about Afif's development milestone. The last one was when he was 8 months young. 

Afif at 8 month.

Biasa lah, babies grow at different pace. Afif is one of the babies yang orang kata lambat sket. We don't mind that. Enjoying this phase of life when he's just a baby. 

Afif is one of those babies who skip the crawling milestone altogether. Sampai skang dia tak merangkak. Mengengsot pon tak mau sangat. At 10 month, dia suka duduk pastu berpaut kat sofa/katil/pagar/baby cot and try berdiri. Duduk pon kene org dudukkan ye. Bila dah berdiri tu, dia meniti. Sekarang dia suka bertatih and cruising. Takmo dok diam dia, asik ajak orang tatih kan dia. Penat tapi seronok layan. Aku tengah nak paw laki mainan sorong untuk baby yang ride and learn to walk 2 in 1 tu. Hihi.

Unlike other babies yang suka masukkan benda dalam mulut, Afif tak reti betul suap menyuap ni, be it foods or random stuff. Bila niarap/duduk tu dia suka mengutip tak kira lah tisu/habuk/coins/tutup botol/etc. Tapi dibeleknya lama-lama sampai boring pastu dia campak. Kalo aku makan roti/biskot pon kene suap dia. Kalo letak kat tangannya, dibeleknya pastu campak. Idok ler suap sdiri masuk mulut. To me this is both good and bad. Good because the chance of him swallowing random stuff is low. Bad because sampai bila ko takmo makan sendiri hoi?

At 11 month, lepas dia kene Hand, Foot and Mouth disease tu, kuar lah gigi dua batang kat gusi bawah dia. weehehe. Sukaaa bila dia dah ada gigi tapi bila dia bf and datang geram dia, sakit gilaaa okay kene gigit! Sabar je la.

Hobbies

Dia suka main peekaboo, toys especially lorry berjalan and piano ade bunyi lampu-lampu. Buku pon suka tapi feveret dia still Mirror Me. Baahaha.

8 month

Dulu paling suka cter Upin Ipin tapi seminggu dua ni dia lagi suka Barney and Friends. Tak berkelip tengok siap gelak-gelak tepuk-tepuk tangan. Macam paham bebenor.

Pastu sangat geram ngan binatang. Kalo nampak kucing tu, nak get as close as possible and nak picit je miaw tu. Nasib baik la belom reti jalan. Haritu mase kat Perth, bising mulut dia nak pegang kangaroo and birds. 

Dia ni sangat suka air. Time nak mandi melompat riang. Bawak gi swimming pool sebolehnya nak kita lepaskan dia and let him swim freely. Hamboi, konfiden betol awak ye? i'm thinking of enrolling him into a swimming class tapi ntah la bila. Belom survey lagi.

9 month

Feeding

Afif makan 3 kali sehari. 2 kali kat umah babysitter, sekali malam kat umah. Meals dia still porridge and puree. Aku kene gak bagi puree sebab nak kurangkan constipation dia. Starting at around 10 months aku bagi dia unblended porridge dan dia boleh makan nasik ketul. Tapi kalo porridge tak blend and nasik butir-butir tu lambat btol habis makan. Pastu ada gak episod tercekik-cekik. Bila datang mood malas or nak cepat, aku blend kasar je porridge tu. Baru laju abes. Hehe.

Umur dia masuk 10 bulan aku dah kurangkan sikit strict bagi makan. Aku bagi je dia makan kek, roti, kuah lemak, yogurt, etc. Tak lah bagi as meals, bagi snack kunyah-kunyah gitu. Reason being is i wanna expose him to different tastes and textures and also (gamble) tengok dia ade allergic kat ape-ape tak. So far alhamdulillah dia okay. Makan yogurt sejuk pon tak ler demam or selsema. Favorite food dia so far adalah Calci Yum yogurt and cakes. Sweet tooth sangat.

Tak kisah ape dia makan pon, susu mama dia tetap nombor satu. Nak tido wajib bergayut. Lepas makan wajib bergayut. Malam pon still bangon every 2 hours nak bergayut. Nan hado sleep through the night. Alhamdulillah, Allah still grants me the privilage of breastfeeding Afif. 

Tapi idok ler jugak fully bf. Kadang kalo stok dah tak cukup kat umah babysitter aku suruh je bagi formula. Tapi lama la baru abes. Satu bungkus 450g tu tahan 2 bulan sebab most days memang bekalkan ebm. Dulu pakai Enfalac A+ tapi lelama dia macam tak suka. Baru-baru ni tukar kepada Snow 6-18 month and ok je dia minom.

Misc

Berat dia aku timbang kat umah adalah 7.9kg, height is 70cm. Baju 3-6 months pon still muat tapi memang ketat la. Baju 6-9 months nmpk besar sket dia pakai.

A Post from Perth

Hi!

We are currently in Perth for family vacay. Second day today and so far it's been GREAT! Traveling with a baby is quite an experience. Will blog about it later, in shaa Allah.

Phewww skali sekala jumpa wifi kat sini. Trus gilaaa belek phone. Berbelog pon sempat. Wagaga..

Passport Photo

Yesterday hubby took Afif to the Immigration office to get him a passport.

He then Whatsapp-ed me this photo:

i went like "Awwwww look at those eyes, those deer-caught-in-the-light face, those lips!" and then was "Kenapaaa rambut dia camtu? Itu baju siapa?". Hehe. Adoring and criticising at the same time.

i never said this out loud (except to my husband) but i think my baby is the cutest, most handsome kid ever walked on earth. Baaahaha.. Classic mom sangat, dimana memang dia rasa anak dia lah paling comel atas dunia. Well, siapa lagi nak puji anak kalau bukan diri sendiri kan?

6 hours to go till i can gomol this face again.

p/s: we're planning to go on a vacation next Wednesday tapi flight ticket, hotel, kejadah semua tak book lagi. Baahaha..

Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease

Last two weeks, Afif had a mild fever on Tuesday. On Wednesday, the babysitter texted, asking for permission to give him paracetamol for his fever. Panas sangat badan dia katanya. Being an overly attached mom, i went back at 3.30pm to get him. 

Memang panas badan dia and the weird thing is he got tiny dots around his mouth and chin. 

Malam tu nampak rashes around his right leg pulak. He also drooled uncontrolably. Basah baju dia penuh ngan air liur. We went to a clinic to get him checked but the doctor said the rashes are caused by baby's sensitive skin. 

The second day. Kene pakaikan bib sebab air liur meleleh.

The next day Afif dah tak demam. Tapi rashes makin banyak, dia asyik merengek and air liur meleleh leleh. Direct feed pon taknak. I brought him to Dr. Shanaliza, the nearest paedretician. She confirmed that Afif had Hand Foot and Mouth disease. Kat lelangit Afif banyak luka katanya. That explains his uncontrollable drooling.

Maka terpaksa lah aku EL smpai the next Tuesday sebabnya Afif kene dikuarantin di rumah. Paling sedih he did not want to eat nor drink. Breastfeeding pon susah nak latch. Nanges2 dia nak netek. Makan apatah lagi. Sebab tak tau dah nak lasi dia makan apa, kitorang kasi dia Calci Yum yogurt and also once, frozen yogurt. Sejuk n smooth, tu je dia bole makan.

Alhamdulillah by Monday tu ok dah dia. Dah boleh makan and rashes subside. But i'm still on leave as nobody look after him at home. He can't go to the babysitter yet as he's still under quarantine. i missed my scheduled annual assessment. Sigh. Demi anak. Harap cepat dapat reschedule.

Anyway, here are the symptoms Afif had, chronologically:

- First day: mild fever

- Second day: mild fever with rashes around mouth and neck. Started to drool a lot and refused to feed

- Third day: fever subsided. Rashes increased in amount but only 1-2 dots on hand and foot. Banyak kat mulut je.. Merengek-rengek. Drooling. Refused to feed.

- Forth & Fifth day: Rashes began to dry. Drooling and cranky. Refused to eat.

- Sixth day: Less drooling. Able to eat and drink easily but no appetite. 

Hand Foot and Mouth disease is contagious and spreads by droplets. Until now, i'm not sure how he got it as there's no other babies/kids at the babysitters ever had this disease. Maybe dapat masa kuar gi mall or mana-mana kot. Around that time ada sorang dua jugak anak kengkawan kene penyakit ni. Nasib baik aku kuarantin kan dia. Kalo tak kesian baby lain kat babysitter kene jugak.

If your child has this disease, there's not much you can do. Firstly get doctor's advice. The most important thing is to keep his/her temperature under control and make sure he's not dehydrated by trying to breastfeed and get him to drink as much as possible. Kene banyak bersabar je lah. Tunggu sampai penyakit tu hilang. 

i just hope he will not get this disease in the future. Kesian tengok dia meleleh air liur, sakit mulut and takleh makan and minom.

Kaitan Antara Ombilin Basin Fieldwork dan Rindu

Last week i went to Padang, Indonesia on a one week geological field trip. Finally, after 2 years of no fieldwork.

Moyang aku dlu berhijrah ke KL dari Bukit Tinggi, Padang. So seronok la dtg sini tengok tempat asal dan borak2 bahasa minang with people outside of my family. So far so good. The food is good, people are friendly..

Throughout the trip i have one major problem..

I MISSED AFIF DAMN MUCH! I miss him so much it hurts. I miss him to the point that after the first night, i feel like "screw the fieldwork. Im going home now!".

After three days i uploaded this onto my Instagram:

Whenever i'm free, i forced hubby to video chat coz i need to see my baby!

i Whatsapped with Mr. Chenta all the time i was there. He said Afif looked lost and macam tercari-cari, especially at nights. Everytime baring atas katil kitorang he's like waiting for me and my boobs. Pastu nanges. First night je dia tido kat bilik. Lagi 4 malam tido kat bawah sebab kalo kat bilik dia automatically expect aku ada. Ada sekali ni kitorang video chat and he was so happy to see me. Tapi dia confuse. Pastu dia pandang laki aku (who was topless), and picit daddy's boobs! Haha. It was as if he was thinking "Mama is here but why no boobs??" It breaks my heart.

Sigh. Being a working mother is so tough. i almost regretted going on that trip. Almost. But i'm glad i went because i learnt a lot. 

The trip is organized by BHP. In general, the fieldwork is on Ombilin Basin. We looked at different kinds of depositional environment; from lacustrine to channels to carbonate setting. We visited Karbindo Coal Mine and got a chance to see up close high TOC coal and shale. Seeing all these is like being in the Petrel 3D models. Joe Lambaise, the trip leader did a great job getting us to link what we see in the outcrops with the machine-generated 3D models.

i did not bring my camera so tak banyak gambar. Pakai iPhone buruk ni je.

Dah nama pon kat Padang kan maka tetiap hari makan nasi Padang.

Day 1. Ni je ler gamba nasi Padang aku. Pastu malas dah bergambar.

On the forth day i woke up with a tummy ache. Macam angin. Tu la sakan sangat makan Nasi Padang. Seharian aku kembong perot siap try nak muntah untuk kuarkan angin. Being under the hot sun kat tengah-tengah outcrop made it worse. That night, i was up vomitting until nothing left in my tummy and had diarrhea. i felt so miserable. Episod air mata bila aku video call ngan Mr. Chenta. i just wanted him there to take care of me. God i miss my husband. Esoknya tu mintak excuse tak ikot trip. i was in bed all day. Nasib baik the vomitting and diarrhea subsided. Petang tu baru la kuar beli sikit-sikit ole-ole. Tak sakan pon shopping sebab tak sihat.

Finally the day came for us to come home. On Tuesday we boarded the 1355 flight to KL. My sister in law picked me up at KLCC with Afif in tow. When he saw he was so excited! When i hold him, it was the best moment. Dia pegang and tenung muka aku lama. Pastu dia pegang tudung aku.. Tarik baju dan cari boobies. Bukan rindu mama rupanya. Rindu candu dia (-____-) i breastfed him and he instantly fell asleep. Wan said sejak aku takde, dia tido tak menentu sebab tak netek. Kesian anak mama.

Throughout the fieldwork, aku pam susu at least 3 kali sehari. Mula-mula production lebat. Tapi hari ketiga dah start kurang. Betul kata orang, mengepam dan ada anak yang physically direct feed memang lain. Kalo tak direct feed susah nak maintain production. Masa aku sakit tu, memang pam sekali je sehari. Itu pon sikit. It's amazing how your body knows that "Okay mama, ko pon asik muntah berak takde nutrient dalam badan. Maka, aku takkan produce banyak susu" Alhamdulillah okay la dapat maintain ada gak susu. i brought home around 85oz expressed breast milk. *pat on the back*

Laki aku cakap dah, pasni no more overnight trips for me sampai la Afif bercerai susu. Nampaknye cancel la girlfriends trip aku next year. Haih. Demi anak.

What We Talk About In The Mother's Room

*post ini ada sedikit unsur 18 SX*

Lama tak berbelog. Rindu. But i've been busy these past weeks and will keep busy for another 2 weeks. Nanti cerita. 

Anyway, ni tengah kat office's Mother's Room. A tiny weeny room with a mini fridge that can accomodate maximum of 4 mothers to pump/express breast milk. Walopon kecik, alhamdulillah, ada jugak kemudahan. Paling best, boleh kenal other mothers.

Selalu kalo ada ibu lain yang mengepam, ade je nak diborakkan. Mainly pasal anak masing masing lah kan. 

But today we talked about family planning and sex. 

Ada yang pakai depo shot. Ada yang pakai kondom. So far kami semua takot dengan IUD. 

Mummy A stopped taking depo shot because a recent bone density test gave result that she has osteoporosis. Even her mom's bone condition is better than hers. Lesson learnt here: mothers, especially nursing mothers and those who opt for depo provera shot, please supplement yourself with calcium pill! We lost calcium during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Mari lah memperkayakan kalsium dalam badan. Siapa lg nak jaga kita kalau bukan kita sendiri.

And then we talked about how different sex is after having child/children. 

Mummy K wondered aloud "Is it because i still have not gotten my period (since giving birth) that i have no sexual desire? Kadang tu berlakon je depan suami. Padahal tak nak langsung!" 

Mummy R said "Ntah la.. But for me, i tak nak sebab penat. Siang keje, balik jaga anak.. Kalo tak penat, bernafsu je.." 

Mummy Y pulak cakap "Tu korang baru anak satu.. Cuba anak 2-3 and dah besar pandai bercakap pulak.. Takde masa pulak tu." 

"tu lah.. Dah la anak tido sekatil. Ada skali ni, i suruh husband i 'cepat lahh' sbb takot anak terjaga. Haha" said Mummy R.

"Sama lah. Siap boleh tepuk anak lagi tanak bg jaga haha.." replied Mummy K

Sigh. This is the reality of sex life after having a baby. Your horny, just-married, let's-experiment-everything, do-it-like-rabbits sexual desire seems so distant. I admit i'm one of the mommies mentioned above. Sex is beautiful, we just have to find the time and energy for it. Itu jugak adalah fitrah manusia kan? I have a few friends who admitted that they refuse it even when husband asks for it. While i dont agree with that (because you know how men are with sex) i understand why women dont want it. Penat. No desire. Hormonal. Etc. 

Mari lah sama sama we strive for a better sex life. For a better marriage. Find the energy. Minom kacip fatimah or whatever method that works. I am no expert but everyday we learn, right?

Lagipon, itu kan salah satu nikmat berkahwin? *wink*

Rumah Impian

As you all are (maybe) aware of, i'm still living with family.

Mula-mula berdua je. Now dah ada Afif, we need BIGGER space.

We're in talks of buying the family house from my parents-in-law. Diorang pon dah buat umah besar kat Kuching, memang settle down sana. Elok lah kami beli umah tu dari diorang. Tapi ntah ler jadi ke tak.

Suka rumah tu sebab location (near KL, dekat ngan sume bende seperti malls, office, sekolah, highways..), house type (linked corner lot house, jalan depan rumah luas), saiz yang sederhana tak besar tak kecil and of course memories made there. Tapi rumah tu dah berumur lebih 20 tahun kot. Laki aku dok situ dari tadika lagi. Banyak lah renovation kene buat especially piping and wiring. Tukar perabot dan kabinet. The kitchen is in serious need of remodeling. Heee.. Bila pikir potential of the house, rasa best nya deco-deco. Best, asalkan jangan pikir pasal wang yang bakal dikeluarkan.

Mari lah berangan pasal rumah idaman daripada layan perot berkeroncong kelaparan.

Exterior

Idok ler aku mengidamkan rumah banglo sebijik dengan keadaan ekonomi skang. Gilo engko. Tapi aku mengidamkan exterior lebih kurang gini. French house inspired exterior katanya. Tak banyak lekuk and corners. Big windows. Natural colors. Ornate wrought iron grilles. Suka ada bumbung. Aku tak berapa berkenan dengan design rumah sekarang yang petak-petak, modern dan minimalis sangat. Call me old-fashioned but aku lagi suka yang timeless gini.

For me, kitchen is a very important room. A place for the family to gather for a meal, berborak and i imagine me and my kids setting up the table for dinner and washing dishes after. For kitchen, i like a blend of traditional and modern styles. Yang penting, counter top mesti dark color supaya tak nampak kotor sangat. Ada a hint of fresh, bright color supaya tak nampak dull sangat dapurnya. Kabinet color cerah macam cream or white supaya nampak luas. In our case, dapur rumah tu memang luas tapi dia memanjang. Maka idok ler ada island or breakfast bar bagai nanti.

Living Room

Living room is where we entertain guests. Aku suke yang santai aje. Basic colored sofa with some bright colored cushions, fluffy carpet, and a coffee table. Maybe add on a side table with family photos on it. Tapi aku ni malas mengelap, takleh banyak banyak harta. Kumpul habuk je kang.

Hobby Space

We plan to convert the space on the second floor to a hobby space. Hubby and i have different interest. He likes computer stuff, jamming, and membeger-beger barang. i'm a bookworm and i use the computer mainly for the internet, picture storing, and watching movies/series. So our hobby space has to accomodate some space for his guitars and the drum set he plans to buy, our laptops and computer and also my books. My precious books! Sounds messy. Tak tercapai dek akalku sekarang. Nanti lah pikir. But please, i want a reading bench by the window with lots of fluffy cushions!

Our Bedroom

Nampak tak belakang katil dia ada almari besar? Nak!

Honestly, sekarang bilik kitorang adalah crowded. Situ lah barang aku, hubby and Afif. Situ lah computer dan tempat simpan handbags. Aku takda meja solek, nak mekap kene gi bilik air.

So nanti dah renovate rumah memang sangat berangan nak bilik tidur simple yang memang untuk rehat, tidur, ruang solat dan ehem le sexy time. Nak juga dengan almari yang besarrrr dan vanity table. Idaman hati memang la nak walk in wardrobe tapi skang takde plan nak besarkan rumah. So a big wardrobe pon boley la. And windows. i love to leave my windows open and curtains drawn when i'm in.

Playroom

Sebab Afif kecik lagi tak dapat lah bayangkan dia ada bedroom sendiri. Playroom pon macam gah sangat bunyi nya. Cukup lah sekadar ada space untuk dia simpan toys, play, learn and get crafty. We'll just probably buy a cabinet or two for storage, hampar playmat dan biar dia buat sepah situ.

Gahhhh..

Bestnya berangan. 

Bestnya membayangkan, walaupon dalam kepala sendiri, rumah yang ingin di duduki. 

Tak tahu lah jadi ke tak plan kami ni. Kalau jadi pon, tak tau cukup ke tak duit nak dapatkan seperti angan-angan ini. Tapi tak salah berangan kan? Dreams are free katanya. Uols jangan gelakkan i pulak bila rumah i nanti tak cantik camni. Muahaha..
